Roses have inspired poetry, art and gardens. And they have inspired me, to paint them. Here is 'Autumn Rose'. She was the last rose, that October, in my garden. And the scent was mesmerizing. When frost came, I cut her and brought her into my studio, for her sheer beauty. And I started painting, observing the curling of her petals, how they changed and moved. What a gift!
